MAGNIFICENT PAIR OF RUBY, PINK DIAMOND AND DIAMOND PENDENT EARRINGS

Each suspending an oval ruby weighing 14.54 and 13.12 carats respectively, surrounded by rose-cut pink diamonds and brilliant-cut diamonds extending to the obverse, the pink diamonds and diamonds together weighing approximately 2.80 and 2.70 carats respectively, surmounted by an old-mine-cut diamond altogether weighing 6.30 carats, mounted in 18 karat white and yellow gold.
Accompanied by Gübelin report numbered 17087077/1 and 2, dated 30 August 2017, stating that the 14.54 and 13.12 carat rubies are natural, Red colour, of Mozambican origin, with no indications of heating; along with two information sheets, stating that 'The demand for natural, unheated rubies kept growing while the supply of such gems remains highly limited, making large, natural rubies of gem-quality from all major sources, such as Burma (Myanmar), Madagascar, Kenya, Tanzania, Mozambique, Vietnam, Afghanistan and Tajikistan, difficult to find'; and 'Mozambique has always been an important source of coloured stones...Corundum has been known in the Mozambique since the Portuguese colonial times, but only since September 2008 larger amounts of rubies entered the market. These come from two new mines in the Msawizi area of Niassa Province and Montepuez in the Cabo Delgado Province.'; and an appendix, stating that 'The natural rubies described...possess a richly saturated and homogeneous colour, combined with a high degree of transparency. In addition, those remarkable gemstones have been spared of thermal treatment. A matched pair of Mozambique rubies of this size, and possessing such a combination of characteristics is rare.''
Lotus premium report numbered 3034-2107, dated 17 July 2017, stating that the 14.54 and 13.12 carat rubies are natural, Red colour, of medium-deep tone and vivid saturation, of Mozambican origin, with no indications of enhancement; with colour type, stating that 'The highly saturated crimson color of this gem earns it the Lotus "Pigeon's Blood" distinction'; along with a Lotus Royal Gem note, stating that 'The pair of stones...feature a superb red color, completely absent any trace of brown or purple overtones...they are an excellent match, both featuring the rare Pigeon's Blood crimson color. In addition, each gem is remarkably clean, with just a light dusting of silk. This not only improves the color, but proves that the gems have been spared the heat enhancement so ubiquitous today.';
SSEF report and premium book numbered 94984, dated 28 August 2017, stating that the 14.54 and 13.12 carat rubies are natural, Red colour of strong saturation, of Mozambican origin, with no indications of heating; along with an appendix letter, stating that 'The two natural rubies described...possess extraordinary characteristics and merit special mention and appreciation. The described rubies...have been carefully selected to form a matching pair in terms of quality and remarkable size. Furthermore, these rubies show an attractive and saturated red colour and a fine purity...Assembling a matching pair of natural rubies from Mozambique of this size and quality can be considered rare and exceptional.'
two GIA reports numbered 2145168406 and 2145515673, dated 6 January and 9 March 2012, stating that the 3.15 and 3.15 carat diamonds are G colour, VS1 clarity, with Excellent polish.
